An aerial of the crash site in Laos. Just below the center of the photo is the rotor head from Jolly Green 23.

Serial numbers from the rotor head at right proved without a doubt that this is the crash of Jolly Green 23.

Local Laotians villagers helped to excavate the area looking for remains of the crew.


A buckle, pocket knife and lieutenant's bars were some of the personal effect found at the site.
