Tail Section

(Click above to get a enlarged view)
This is the tail section looking down hill. It appears that many years of high levels of snow and crushed the section.
According to the crash report, this was the portion of the fuselage to the rear of bulkhead number 5. Attached to segment of the fuselage were the fin and right stabilizer. An examination of this part indicated that the failure of the rear portion may have been upward.
I appears the the tail section may have once been up hill from this point and has slowing moved downhill until it progress was stopped by trees.
